Scenic spot introduction:

Nanjing Fangshan National Geopark is located in Jiangning Science Park. It borders the University Town to the east and the Qinhuai River to the west. It is one of the scenic spots in Jinling. It is called Tianyin Fangshan because of its unique mountain shape. Fangshan is a volcano that erupted 10 million years ago. It preserves various rocks from the eruption and is a typical representative of volcanoes that erupted at the same time in eastern China.

The geological relics in Fangshan National Geopark are rich, diverse and typical, and have important scientific significance and comprehensive value. The park includes Fangshan Ziwu Tea Garden, Dinglin Leaning Tower, Dinglin Temple, Chishan Formation Sandstone, Dongxuanguan Formation and Angel Horse Fossils, Tianyin Palace, Archway, Rock Wall, Observation Deck, Nantianmen, Zulongding Basalt, Fangshan Tianchi, Shibapan, Lover's Valley, etc.
