Biyong introduction: Piyong is located in the center of the Imperial College, covering an area of about 320 square meters. It is the main building of the Imperial College and the lecture place for the emperors of the Qing Dynasty. It was built in the 49th year of Qianlong's reign (1784). It is a majestic square-shaped building with double eaves and pointed gold-plated roof. Each side is 5.2 feet wide and deep. It has doors on all sides, six steps, and is surrounded by a corridor. The corridor is surrounded by a pool. There are four fountains on the bank of the pool. The water faucet is surrounded by white marble guardrails around the pool, connected by bridges on all sides. This unique shape and brilliantly painted building is called "Piyong Panshui". Emperor Piyong came here to give lectures and was called "Linyong".
The restored displays in Piyong Hall are based on the furnishings and scenes during the first "Linyong Lecture" in the fiftieth year of Qianlong (1785) after Emperor Qianlong built Piyong. The facilities in the hall are all made of old solid wood. It is carefully crafted and presented authentically to the audience, allowing the audience to experience the glorious and solemn ancient royal cultural atmosphere.
