Nanwan Lake, also known as Nanhu, is known as the "Pearl of Southern Henan" and "The First Lake in the Central Plains". It is located 5 kilometers southwest of Xinyang City, Henan Province, and consists of Nanwan Lake and Nanwan National Forest Park. The forest area is 2180 hectares and the water surface is about 75 square kilometers. There are rivers and forks in the scenic area, and 61 small islands are scattered in the lake.
