Introduction to the Shang and Zhou Jade Treasures Exhibition: The exhibition selects 240 jade objects unearthed from Fuhao Tomb, Zhangjiapo Cemetery, and Qianzhang Cemetery collected by the Institute of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It is intended to showcase the painstaking efforts of archaeological excavations over the years. It displays the characteristics and connections of Shang and Zhou jades, as well as the development of China’s jade craftsmanship traditions from prehistoric times to the artistic achievements that reached a mature stage in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
