Introduction to the Heavenly Gate on Mount Jiuhua: In the seventh year of Kaiyuan of the Tang Dynasty (719 AD), Jin Qiaojue, the prince of the Silla Kingdom, sailed into the Tang Dynasty to seek Dharma. He landed in Taizhou, Zhejiang, took a rest at Datong and then arrived at Jiuhua. In the past dynasties, many Jiuhua monks have cultivated their minds and enlightened themselves in the holy place where Prince Jin rested. As a result, the "Dashi Pavilion" became famous. During the Qianlong period, it was awarded the "Jiuhua Mountain Top Tianmen".
