Guangfu Zen Temple in Hai'an is a famous temple in northern Jiangsu and a rare treasure land of landscapes and scenery in Hai'an. The solemn morning bells and evening drums in the temple, the elegant and unique surrounding environment, and one of the famous "Three Ponds and Ten Scenes" in Haian - "Fengshan Morning Glow" are located here. Guangfu Zen Temple was first built in the 20th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (AD 646). In the past, the temple had more than 300 buildings such as halls, buildings, wing rooms, and monk houses. The Sanskrit music was loud and the incense was strong all year round, attracting believers and literati from all over the world. Many people came here to pay homage and pay their respects. At that time, it and the Denshu Zen Temple (i.e. West Temple) on West Street were listed as two famous ancient temple jungles in Dongxiang, Taizhou. However, due to frequent wars in the past dynasties and continuous movements later, the temple buildings and Buddhist statues were repeatedly destroyed. Nowadays, the temple has been rebuilt and prosperous again.

Guangfu Zen Temple is located at No. 19, Fengshan North Road, the county seat, covering an area of ​​20 acres. The temple has main buildings such as the mountain gate, the Tianwang Hall, the Mahavira Hall, and the Buddhist Sutra Building. The buildings on the east side include the abbot's room, guest hall, Buddhist hall, small building, jingshe (for donors from all directions to visit and rest), incense kitchen, and rice flour. Houses, vegetable gardens, etc., and most of them in the west are monk rooms.
