Introduction to Xiagui Tibetan Cultural Ecological Tourism Village: Thirteen kilometers northeast from Shangri-La is Xiagui Village. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the scenery is picturesque. With rich folk customs and charming Tibetan style, it is known as the "No. 1 Village of Shangri-La". Located on the Shuodu Lake, Bitahai and Baishui Terrace tourist circuits, it is the only way to the main scenic spots in Shangri-La and the first stop of the Shambhala Cultural Corridor. Xiagui Village is a representative village of Tibetan folk culture. There are beautiful plateau pastures and dense virgin forests, which tightly surround the village in the embrace of mountains and rivers. Shuangqiao River winds through the village like a jade belt. There are more than 20 Tibetan households in the village, and the unique Tibetan houses are well preserved. Pagodas, Mani piles, prayer flags and prayer wheels of different styles can be seen everywhere. Among them, Gaden Dejilin Temple is one of the holy places where local Tibetans hold grand ritual activities and worship. There are also a series of handicraft workshops in the village. Tibetan folk artists use traditional crafts to hand-carve simple and exquisite handicrafts, which makes everyone admire the Tibetan people's deep and keen artistic sensibility and exquisite handicrafts.
Transportation information: Walk 13 kilometers east from Shangri-La City to Pudacuo National Park. Xiagui Village is located in the scenic area. You can reach the village directly by taking the scenic tourist eco-friendly car.
