Introduction to the village gate: Wengding Ancient Village is the most unique place in the Washan community. "Weng" means water, "Ding" means connection, and Wengding means water of connection. When you enter the village, the first thing you see is the big banyan tree on the left side of the village gate that can be hugged by several people. There is also a bull's head hanging on the banyan tree. There is a very open singing venue in front. Presumably all Wa activities such as cattle robbing and wooden drum playing in the village should be held in this venue. There are thatched houses built on the mountain on three sides of the entrance to the village. There is no commercial atmosphere in the village. There are no vendors selling goods along the street. It retains the most primitive tranquility and simplicity.
