Introduction to Jade Rooster Square: The Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Square were once famous cultural landscapes and symbols of the city in Kunming. The two squares are about tens of meters apart. They are both gatehouse-style wooden archways with raised eaves and corners. They are about to take off and are majestic. They stand side by side with Zhongai Square to form the third square with the word "pin". After the completion of the second buildings of Jinma and Jade Rooster, they were repeatedly destroyed by war and rebuilt many times. In the 10th year of Guangxu (1884), the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster was rebuilt under the leadership of Cen Yuying, the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, but it was demolished in the late 1960s.
