Introduction to cloth dyeing: Dyeing cloth is a traditional craft of the Dai people. Choose the medicine called "haomin" in Dai language, which is indigo. People soak indigo leaves in water and then boil them. The boiled indigo is mixed with lime powder. After it cools, use a wooden hammer to pound it into a paste, and then pour the dye mixed with water into it. Soak the white cloth to be dyed in water and then put it out in the sun to dry. The depth of color depends on the number of soaks.
