Introduction to the ruins of the Yunnan-Burma Railway: The Yunnan-Burma Railway was built in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War, starting from today's Kunming North Station (then known as Kunming Terminal). Construction started in December 1938 by the National Government. In 1942, due to the fall of western Yunnan When the work was suspended, the entire project was vast, but the actual track laying of the line was only built from Kunming to Anning (and later demolished), and it never reached the final destination-Lashio, Myanmar. The blood and tear labor of nearly 300,000 people finally fell short. It became a major historical tragedy.
