Introduction to the dome: The most attractive part of the Our Lady of the Guardian Church building is its huge "onion head" dome in the typical Byzantine architectural style. The dome of the Cathedral of Our Lady is modeled after the circular dome of the famous Hagia Sophia Church in Istanbul, Turkey. The green-toned arched circular dome towers into the clouds, highlighting the architectural style of the exotic church, which is both majestic and heavy. The 12 exquisitely designed upper arc lighting windows that open evenly on the red-toned cylindrical wall under the dome are elegant and delicate. The four small green hemispheric domes outside the four corners of the church are small and exquisite in design, surrounding the tall and straight circular dome. There is a golden cross on each small dome, which complements the cross on the large dome.
