Introduction to Panchi and Panqiao: Panchi is set up in front of Lingxing Gate and is in the shape of a semicircle. It is a unique building of the Confucian Temple and symbolizes the academic palace where Confucius lectured. There is a Pan Bridge over the pond, which is a white marble arch bridge composed of 46 pillars and 50 railings. In ancient times, Panchi was usually closed, and ordinary people could not cross it, but could only go around it from both sides. Only Zhuangyuan and Difang could walk across the bridge to worship Confucius, so it was also called the "Zhuangyuan Bridge".
