Scenic spot introduction:

Yongxing People's Park was built in memory of the founding general Huang Kecheng. It is a commemorative park. Huang Kecheng (October 1, 1902 - December 28, 1986) was a great proletarian revolutionist, politician, and militarist in our country, and an outstanding leader of our party, our army, and New China. The serious and beautiful environment in the park, accompanied by a revolutionary theme, is the best place for patriotic education for students and a place for citizens to take a leisurely walk.

The People's Park includes the Bronze Statue Square, Tianxiu Pavilion, large colorful fountain, Youth Palace, Yongxing Museum, Stele Gallery, and Children's Entertainment Ground. How to get there:

Bus route: You can take a bus to Yongxing at long-distance bus stations across Hunan. After getting off, you can walk or transfer to local transportation.

Self-driving route: Drive along the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, exit from Yongxing/S212 exit and enter S212. After arriving in Yongxing County, turn into Renmin Road.

Museum: 08:30-12:00, 15:00-18:00 in summer; 08:30-12:00, 14:30-17:30 in winter. (Closed for half a day in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve every year)
