Xuzhou Zhulin Temple is the first bhikshuni temple in China and one of the eight ancient temples in Xuzhou. The temple was founded and named by Master Jingjian, the first bhikshuni in my country, in Luoyang. Zhulin Temple was repeatedly abandoned and built in the past dynasties. Until the Japanese invaders invaded China in the middle of the last century, Zhulin Temple was wantonly looted and the thousand-year-old temple was destroyed. The temple was rebuilt in 2004 to recreate the deep and quiet artistic conception of the thousand-year-old Zhulin Temple. Coupled with the beautiful scenery of Lion Rock, it has become a place of worship for female believers.

Xuzhou Zhulin Temple is located on Heping Road at the east end of Heping Bridge, covering an area of ​​about 350 acres. The main buildings of the temple include five groups of buildings, including the main hall on the top of the mountain, the Guanyin Pavilion, the No. 1 Bhikshuni Memorial Hall in China, three stele pavilions, and the north and south gates. It also has five major cultural buildings, including special training, agricultural and Zen experience, social charity, sightseeing and performing arts, and international exchanges.
