Introduction to the Minjiang Martyrs Monument: In 1941, the Japanese army captured Fuzhou. On May 11 of the same year, a 21-year-old girl surnamed Zhou from Xiangban Village in today's Taijiang District was working in the vegetable field by the river when she was suddenly killed by six Japanese soldiers surrounded him and wanted to commit violence. Zhou's daughter refused and jumped into the river to fight to her death. Later, the villagers built a monument to commemorate Zhou Nu. Due to its age and several floods, the monument has disappeared. I accidentally found this monument when building Jiangbin Park a few years ago, so I re-erected it at the place where Zhou Nu jumped into the river, and it has become a scene in the park today.
