Introduction to the small bungalow: The small bungalow is located on the east side of Wenchang Pavilion. There is an open-air corridor connecting Wenchang Pavilion. It was mainly built to facilitate Chiang Kai-shek's close aides when he lived in Wenchang Pavilion. The building was built in 1930, with three rooms and two floors, and a small structure. It is also known as "Shanxi Xiaozhu" and "Hanzhai".
In April 1937, Chiang Ching-kuo returned from studying in the Soviet Union. Chiang Kai-shek arranged for him to live and study here. While studying Chinese, he studied the family letters of Zeng Guofan, the complete works of Wang Yangming, and "Chinese Cultural Heritage" and other works, and asked him to write the "Report on Travel in Russia". , reflecting on the red mark left while studying in the Soviet Union. When Chiang Ching-kuo lived and studied, the upstairs was the bedroom to the east, the study to the west, and the living room in the middle. The small bungalow also housed Chiang Kai-shek's foreign military adviser Duanna, and the director of the attendant's office Chen Bulei.
On the first floor of the small bungalow, there is a stone tablet "washed with blood", which tells the history of the death of Chiang Ching-kuo's mother Mao Fumei. On December 12, 1939, Japanese aggressor planes bombed Xikou. Unfortunately, the back wall of Mao Fumei collapsed at the back door of Fenghao's house and she was crushed to death. After hearing the news, Chiang Ching-kuo hurriedly came from Jiangxi to attend the funeral. He shed tears in grief and anger and wrote this The four characters "wash blood with blood" express the firm determination to avenge the murder of his mother.
