Introduction to Yutai Salt Shop: Yutai Salt Shop is located in the middle section of Wuling Road, Sanli Chang Street, Xikou. On September 15, the 13th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (October 31, 1887), Chiang Kai-shek was born in Yutai. On the upper floor of Tai Salt Shop, his grandfather named him Ruiyuan.
Yutai Salt Shop was opened by Chiang Kai-shek’s grandfather, Chiang Siqian, in 1871. It mainly sold salt, and also sold rice, wine, vegetable cakes and lime. trade name. It was later inherited by Chiang Kai-shek's father, Chiang Zhaocong. After Chiang Zhaocong's death, the brothers separated, and the salt shop was run by Chiang Kai-shek's brother, Chiang Kai-ching. In 1919, Chiang Kai-shek went out to seek employment and the salt shop was closed. Later, the salt shop caught fire twice and suffered termite corrosion once. Chiang Kai-shek renovated it in 1948. It now has three buildings, three bungalows, as well as kitchens, toilets and other ancillary buildings. The word "Qinglu" is written on the forehead of the gate, and the six characters "Original Site of Yutai Salt Shop" inscribed by Chiang Kai-shek are engraved on the boundary wall on the west side of the gate.
