Introduction to the cliff carvings of Liugong Valley: On the stone wall below the "Ladder to Heaven" (one of the eighteen scenic spots) not far from the entrance of the valley, there are two cliffs of the Northern Song Dynasty preserved. One of them is southwest of the "Ladder to Heaven". On the hanging rock, there are inscriptions by Liu Gongshu and Zhang Chunmin, and the second one is in regular script by Yuanfeng Jiwei, Kaizu of Zhou Dynasty (Zhou Ping). In addition to the two cliffs mentioned above, there is another cliff on the back of the "Ladder to Heaven" ridge, on which are engraved the three "Liu Gong Valley" in seal script and straight script. The cliff is 1.54 meters high and 0.44 meters wide. It has no inscription. An article written by Lin Yilong of the Song Dynasty on his visit to Liugong Valley states: "There is a boulder-like wall standing on the surface of the pool, with seal carvings on it." "Liu Gonggu's three characters are very refined and ancient, which makes people admire endlessly."
