The Yellow Emperor is the ancestor of the Chinese nation. He was born on the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi. He led his people to move on the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi. After his death, he was buried on the top of Qiaoshan in today's Huangling County. Qiaoshan is located one kilometer north of Huangling County, Shaanxi Province. The mountain is thick and majestic. It is surrounded by Jushui at the foot of the mountain. There are more than 80,000 thousand-year-old cypresses on the mountain. They are evergreen and lush all year round. The tomb of Xuanyuan Huangdi is hidden deep in it. Among the ancient cypresses on the top of Qiaoshan Mountain. Since the temple was built in the fifth year of Emperor Dali of the Tang Dynasty, this place has been the place where all dynasties held national sacrifices. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, sacrificial ceremonies have been held here every year during the Qingming Festival and Double Ninth Festival. In particular, the public sacrifice during the Qingming Festival has become a traditional sacrificial ceremony of the Chinese nation. The Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor is a sacred place for the Chinese nation. Overseas Chinese hail it as the "Mecca of the East". In 1962, the State Council announced it as one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country and ranked it as the "No. 1 ancient tomb" and known as "No. 1 in the world." Mausoleum".
The Huangdi Mausoleum area has charming scenery. At the foot of the mountain is the Xuanyuan Temple built in the Han Dynasty. The stele gallery on the east side of the temple houses 57 sacrificial steles made by emperors of all dynasties. Now there are "Return Monuments" from Hong Kong and Macao. Qiaoshan, where the mausoleum and temple are located, has 816,000 thousand-year-old cypresses, which is the largest group of ancient cypresses in my country. In the temple, it is said that the Yellow Emperor planted a cypress with his own hands. It is more than 20 meters high and 11 meters in diameter at breast height. It is vigorous and straight, with a crown that covers the sky. It is the oldest and largest cypress tree in my country.
