Scenic spot introduction:

Zhougong Temple was built in the first year of Wude in the Tang Dynasty (AD 618) to commemorate Zhou Gong Ji Dan, a famous statesman of the Western Zhou Dynasty who helped King Wu destroy the Shang Dynasty and established the country, and assisted King Cheng to quell the rebellion of Anbang. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with towering ancient trees and beautiful scenery. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides to the east, west and north. Only the south side is connected to the plains, shaped like a dustpan. "The Book of Songs" says: "Those who have scrolls, the wind blows from the south." Therefore, it was called "Ancient Scroll" by later generations. It is located at the southern foot of Phoenix Mountain, 6.5 kilometers northwest of Qishan County, Shaanxi Province.

The Zhougong Temple Scenic Area is large in scale, covering an area of ​​about 620,000 square meters. It has more than 30 existing ancient buildings, many Tang cypresses and Han acacia trees, lush vegetation and dense shade. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient building complex in Baoji. After generations of repairs and expansions, it formed a complex of ancient buildings with the Zhou Gong (Zhou Gong, Zhao Gong and Tai Gong) Hall as the theme, Jiangyuan and Houji Hall as supplements, and embellished with pavilions and pavilions. In history, Han Yu, Su Shi, Kang Hai and many other literati came here to visit, admire the scenery and express their feelings, leaving behind more than 160 poems and lines and more than 30 inscriptions.
