The Erling Pagoda on the top of Erling Mountain is a square stone pagoda built during the Duangong period of the Northern Song Dynasty. It has long floors on all sides and is about 9 meters high. There are pot-shaped Buddhist niches on all sides of each floor of the tower body, and there are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the niches. The Song Pagoda overlooks the clear waves. Whenever the sun sets in the west and the shadow of the tower slants across the lake, it is the most beautiful time for Erling.
