Introduction to Fan Li Temple: After Yue destroyed Wu at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the Zhuji area was once the fiefdom of Fan Li. Tao Zhu Mountain on the west side of the city was named after Fan Li once built a house to live abroad. On the east side of the mountain, there is the Hutou Rock of Yumai, which is said to be the place where Fan Li wandered around and fell in love with Xi Shi, so it is also called Fan Li Rock. In ancient times, Fanli Temple was built half a mile away from the rock (near the back door of the current silk spinning factory), and the ruins still exist today.
The newly built Fan Li Temple in the scenic area mainly displays Fan Li's military, political and business talents and life achievements, and is set off by other related humanistic stories. The entire building consists of Fan Li Temple, the Temple of Wealth, Kuixing Pavilion, Sanxing Temple (tentative name) and other related buildings, covering an area of 2,000 square meters and a construction area of 960 square meters. There is a 3.5-meter-high full-body bronze statue of Fan Li in the main hall. The wall behind the bronze statue is made of wooden strips imitating the form of bamboo slips, reproducing the wonderful chapter of Fan Li's story recorded in "Historical Records".
