Scenic spot introduction:

The Binxian Great Buddha Temple is a bright light in the history of Buddhist art in my country. Originally named Qingshou Temple, it is located on the south bank of Jinghe River, ten kilometers west of Bin County. The grotto is carved into the cliff. Here there are rivers and streams, peaks confronting each other, the terrain is as long and narrow as a corridor, and the Jinghe River meanders eastward from the front of the Buddha Cave. The scenery is beautiful and the environment is beautiful. It is the largest group of Buddhist stone sculptures in Shaanxi Province. The Great Buddha Temple has become a beautiful scenery on the ancient Silk Road because of its unique cultural connotation and religious connotation.

Attractions distribution:

There are 361 large and small caves and niches in the Great Buddha Temple Grottoes. There are 107 caves and 254 Buddhist niches. There are a total of 19 caves with statues inside, and 1,498 statues. The Big Buddha Cave, Thousand Buddha Cave and Luohan Cave are the main caves containing statues. In addition, there are other scattered small grottoes outside the Grand Buddha Temple. The stone Buddha statues in them have been soaked by thousands of years of wind and sand. Although they have lost their former style, they have left behind the smoke of history.
