Introduction to Kanpu Bell Tower: Kanpu Bell Tower was built in the Yuan Dynasty by Yang Zi, a famous maritime transporter and dramatist in the Yuan Dynasty. Yang Zi was once the Xuanwei envoy and the general manager of Hangzhou Road. When Yang was managing Kanpu Seaport, his family was extremely wealthy. Because the land in Kanpu was prone to drought, in order to suppress Feng Shui and pray for a good harvest, Yang Zi built a six-foot-high bell tower in Chanyue Temple in the north gate, and hung a large copper bell weighing more than 5,400 kilograms.
