Introduction to the former site of the Salt Course Examination Office: In 1383 AD, the Ming Dynasty court established seven "Salt Course Examination Divisions" across the country, including four in Yunnan. Nuodeng's "Wujing Salt Class Promotion Division" was one of them. Later, the Yamen moved out and became the private residence of Mr. Huang, the salt officer. Today, the old Yamen site still retains its style.
