Introduction to the stage: The stage in the Chenghuang Temple is particularly beautifully built, with a single eaves on the top of the mountain, a caisson in the shape of a chicken coop, carved dragons and phoenixes, and red and gold decorations. It looks sparkling from a distance.
In the old days, the stage of the Town God's Temple was the center of folk activities in the Temple, with various theater troupes vying to perform on the stage. Some of the performances are purely literary and artistic activities, some are performed in accordance with old customs at various traditional festivals to thank gods and perform votive wishes, and more often they are performed by troupes invited by industrial and commercial guilds to hold festive activities to expand the influence of the industry. When there is a performance, the temple is decorated with lanterns, gongs and drums, and it is very lively.
