Introduction to Yuedong Family Tradition: "Yuedong Family Tradition" means Wang Yuedong's family tradition. "Yuedong" is a person's name. His original name was Wang Zi, whose courtesy name was Jieweng. Yuedong was his nickname. He was from Suichang Hushan. He was once awarded the title of county lieutenant of Jinxi (now part of Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province). During the Xiangxing period of Song Dynasty, he abandoned his official position and went into seclusion. He formed a society and wrote poems to spend time in the sun. He wrote two volumes of Shuidong Poetry Collection. During his tenure in Suichang, Tang Xianzu wrote a preface to his collection of poems because he admired Yuedong's character and poetry. He also wrote the inscription "A man in the forest". In 2003, the Yue Dongjia Style was moved from the old town of Suichang County to Anshan Academy for restoration. The entire building has white walls and black tiles, a simple and elegant style, and is adjacent to Anshan Academy.
