Chishi Introduction: Chishi is a typical Jiangnan town in the middle section of the 800-mile Oujiang River. It has a stream of clear water, a few green trees, surrounded by mountains, sails, ants, busy traffic, and merchants. The stream passes through it in an arc, and the village is placed on the top of the arc. The confused distant mountains all around form a faint outline of green mountains. There were originally more than 300 families and a population of more than 900. After liberation, it was merged into Shangaolang, Taxia, Wuyin Street, and Kengkou to form the Chishi Brigade. There were more than 400 households and a population of more than 1,700. The houses were concentrated and arranged neatly. There is a 500-meter-long embankment built along the river. The middle section is higher and the highest point reaches 20 meters. There is a row of stilted buildings extending into the Oujiang River outside the front street, and there is the back street parallel to the front street. There is a cross street in the center of the town, connecting the front and back streets, dividing the town into upper and lower halves. There is also a column street in the middle of the horizontal street, which divides the whole town into two halves, inside and outside. There are also Quyao Alley, Ferry Alley, Xia Alley and other alleys.
