Introduction to the Plum Blossom Pavilion: It was built during the reign of Ni Ji, the magistrate of Jiashan County in the Zhengde year of the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a grass pavilion and was named "Dark Fragrance Floating Moon". After repairs, the grass turned into tiles. In the 23rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1897), the then county magistrate Jiang Fengqing inscribed a plaque with the name "Plum Blossom Pavilion" on it. It was rebuilt in 1990. The plaque is the original one from the Guangxu period. There is a stone tablet in the pavilion titled "The Tomb of Taoist Xiumei" written by Chen Jiru, a native of Minghuating (now Songjiang).
