Introduction to Tang Yuan Zimo Rock: At the first pass of the ancient road, there is a Tang Stele Pavilion. On the rock wall inside the pavilion is the famous Tang Yuan Zimo Rock. Yuan Zi was Zhongcheng, the imperial envoy of the Tang Dynasty, and a famous calligrapher. This Moyan was dropped by Yuan Zi when he passed Shimen Pass on his mission to Yunnan in 794 AD (the 10th year of Zhenyuan of the Tang Dynasty). It has now been listed as a national key cultural relic.
