Monument introduction: Climbing up the steps from the gate, the 12.26-meter-high Red Army Martyrs Monument stands on a small hill. There are 103 tombs of revolutionary martyrs arranged among pines, cypresses and flowers and trees on the left, right and back sides of the monument. In front of the tomb of the martyrs, there is an inscription written by General Zhang Aiping in 1986, "The main force of the Red Army marched northward on the Long March, the guerrilla battlefield in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou border area, they fought alone, contained the enemy, sacrificed heroically, and were admired by all generations" and a stele of Chairman Mao Zedong's poem "Long March".
