Introduction to Yaoshan: Yunnan Yaoshan National Nature Reserve was established in 1982, with a protected area of 20,141 hectares, divided into two areas: Yaoshan and Yangjiawan. Yaoshan is named after its abundance of Chinese herbal medicines. The famous wild medicinal materials include Bupleurum, Codonopsis, Fritillaria, Gastrodia, Cordyceps, Astragalus, Cao Wu, Fangfeng, Gentian, Curculigo Ginseng, Apostichopus japonicus, Coptis chinensis, etc., which protect plants. There are a total of 52 species, and the total number of medicinal plant species is more than 856.
