The third house of the Cheng family in Tunxi was the residence of the Cheng Minzheng family, the right minister of the Ministry of Rites, during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. It is known as the "treasure of residential houses in the Ming Dynasty". Cheng Minzheng (January 7, 1446 - July 11, 1499) was an official and scholar in the Ming Dynasty. He served as the Right Minister of the Ministry of Rites and the Minister of the Ministry of Rites. He was the author of several works such as "Qingzhou Collection" and "Xiuning Zhi". Miyake's unique Ming Dynasty architectural style and elegant, beautiful and solemn carvings have attracted widespread attention from the domestic and foreign architectural circles.

The Three Houses are three classical buildings. Buildings 7 and 8 are connected, and Building 28 is located in the east. They are all five-bay, two-story bucket-style buildings with front and rear wing rooms and a central patio, similar to a triple courtyard. There are a large number of exquisite stone carvings and wood carvings in the courtyard, which fully reflect the exquisite architectural skills.
