Introduction to the root-carved Sakyamuni Buddha: The root-carved Sakyamuni Buddha is in the middle of the main hall. The wood is made of yellow xinnan. It is 9.9 meters high and weighs more than 40 tons (the main Buddha is 26 tons and the base is 14 tons). The root carving is the largest Buddha statue in the country. The roots cost a huge amount of money and were collected from Myanmar, the holy land of Buddhism. The roots are huge, unique in shape and very rare.
