Introduction to the Dunhuang Sutras: The Dunhuang Sutras in the museum are copies of the Buddhist scripture "The Karma Sutra", written in the Sui Dynasty or early Tang Dynasty. The yellow paper is connected to each other, with a total length of 17 meters and a total of more than 16,790 words. The front volume is slightly incomplete. The paper of the manuscript is thin and tough. It has been dyed yellow and has slight water stains. The characters are written according to the color of the paper, which is in line with the regulations of the Sui and Tang Dynasties.
"Karma" is a transliteration of Sanskrit, meaning "homework." The "Karma Sutra" is a classic about Buddhist precepts and confessions.
