Introduction to the Pearl Temple: The Pearl Temple, known as "Juejue Lakang" in Tibetan, is located in the west of Baoning Village, Hedong Township, Guide County. It was built in the late Song Dynasty and the early Yuan Dynasty. The master of Pearl Temple enshrines a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha whose blessing power is equivalent to that of Jokhang Temple. It is known as the first temple in front of Tibet. When believers prepare to go to Tibet to worship, they must first come to this temple to worship, and then they can enter Tibet to worship. During major religious festivals, especially the Fasting Festival on March 15th of the lunar calendar, many believers come to worship, and the scene is grand and spectacular.
