Introduction to Tulou Temple: Tulou Temple, formerly known as Beichan Temple, was originally called Tuloushan Temple. It is located at the foothills of Tulou Mountain in the north of Xining City and was first built in 106 AD. From 227 to 233 AD (Emperor Wei Ming), some monks built caves, sculpted Buddha statues, and painted caissons in the cliffs. From then on, Tulou Temple gradually became a Buddhist temple.
