Introduction to the Nine Caves and Eighteen Caves: The soft rock layers are concave inward, forming caves of different sizes. The locals call them "Nine Caves and Eighteen Caves". There are statues of gods and Buddhas such as the Jade Emperor, Guanyin, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Guan Yunchang, etc. in the cave. The patterns of gods, flowers, landscapes and moons painted on the cave walls are in the artistic style of Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist paintings. It was once known as the "Xiping Mogao Grottoes".
