National Museum ticket prices:
The National Museum of China implements a free admission system. Visitors can obtain free admission tickets by making an appointment in advance or collecting tickets on-site on the day of visit.
Advance reservations include mobile phone text message reservations, online reservations, and telephone reservations (telephone reservations are limited to groups of more than 20 people). On the day of visit, you can redeem a free National Museum admission ticket with a valid ID at the Beijing Ticketing Service Center , and enter from the north gate to visit the free exhibitions.
If there are individual fee-based special exhibitions, they will be noted at the ticket center, the West Hall service desk and the exhibition page of the website. You need to purchase tickets at the Beijing Ticket Center or at the entrance of the special exhibition hall. With paid special exhibition tickets, you can visit other free exhibitions at the same time when entering from the north gate. There is no need to make an appointment or redeem a free admission ticket.
