Introduction to Laolvtang: Laorvtang, formerly known as Qizhen Hall, is dedicated to the Quanzhen Seven Sons, the seven disciples of Wang Chongyang, the founder of the Quanzhen sect: Qiu Chuji is in the middle, and Liu Chuxuan, Tan Chuduan, and Ma are on the left in order. Yu, seated on the right are Wang Chuyi, Hao Datong and Sun Buer. In the Qing Dynasty, Chang Yue, the Taoist king of the Qing Dynasty, once dedicated himself here to preach Taoism and opened an altar to teach the precepts. Disciples seeking precepts spread all over the country, and the Taoist school was inspired by the mysterious wind. In order to commemorate this grand event, later generations renamed the Qizhen Hall "Old Law Hall" , that is, the palace where the precepts are taught.
Laolutang has a large building area and is where Taoist priests in the temple hold religious activities. Taoist priests come here every morning and evening to chant sutras in the temple. During Taoist festivals or the ancestor's Christmas, an altar is set up here to hold fasting rituals.
