Introduction to the Round Building: On the north side of the National Congress Hall is the Round Building, which is named after the oval plane of the conference hall in the building. The building has two floors above ground and is made of gray bricks. The roof is made of triangular steel-wood trusses. There are three lounges in the south of the building and a semi-circular foyer enclosing a round conference room in the north. It is now the senior activity center of Xinhua News Agency.
