Introduction to the Anda tribute: When Emperor Muzong Zhu Zaihe (1536-1572) was in power, there were internal conflicts within the Mongolian Anda Khan. In 1570, Anda Khan entrusted his grandson Han Naji's fiancée to someone else, and Han Naji was angry and defected to the Ming Dynasty. Emperor Muzong of the Ming Dynasty gave him a banquet and appointed Han Naji as the commander. Anda Khan thought that the Ming Dynasty would kill his grandson to vent his hatred for the repeated Mongol invasions. Unexpectedly, the grandson was greatly moved by the favor he received. He gave up the intrusion and resumed the silk horse trade with the Ming Dynasty. Ming Muzong used this move to consolidate border defense, which was the most successful measure in his six years in power. What is shown here is the scene where Langmu Zong gave Han Naji a banquet. After his death, Mu Zong was buried in Zhaoling, one of the Thirteen Tombs in Beijing.
