Introduction to the protected area: The core area of ​​the Northeast Yew National Nature Reserve in Muling, Heilongjiang is 15,405 hectares, the buffer zone is 14,328 hectares, and the experimental area is 5,915 hectares. It is located within the territory of Muling Forestry Bureau. There are more than 160,000 Northeastern yew trees in the area with complex tree species and tree age structures, covering a total area of ​​35,000 hectares. The largest one has a diameter at breast height of 92 centimeters, a tree height of 23 meters and an age of 800 years.
