Introduction to the Zhucun Anti-Japanese War: In the early morning of January 24, 1944 (New Year's Eve in the lunar calendar), the Japanese army stationed in Linyi gathered more than 1,000 people and quietly attacked the Qishan District. The enemy troops were divided into three groups. One group stayed in Caozhuang to search for party members, cadres and people who could not be transferred in time. One group moved to the southwest to invade Mazhuang, and the other group moved to the southeast to "mopping up" Zhucun. In this battle of Zhucun, more than 40 enemy and puppet people were killed. Twenty-four comrades of the Eighth Company died heroically, and company commander Yan Sijia and county independent battalion political commissar Tie Ying were injured.
