The Great Wall is divided into a southern route and a northern route: the southern route has extremely steep mountains, almost straight up and down; the northern route has gentle mountains, so you can climb up to the tower to view them without having to trek hard, and you can also fish for small fish in the Shentangyu Canyon along the way.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus 916 from Dongzhimen to Huairou, get off at the north exit of Yingbin Road and transfer to bus h25 to Xizhazi; or take a van from Huairou County, the fare is about 60 yuan.
Self-driving route: Jingcheng Expressway leaves from the Beitai Road/Kuangou/Qiaozi exit at Daliushuying Bridge, drives along Huaichang Road → X005 → Huaihuang Road, passes the Mutianyu Roundabout, and heads towards the Great Wall Driving in the direction of the Red Trout Farm, there are signs for the Great Wall on the road.
