Beijing Dazhong Temple Ancient Bell Museum, formerly known as Juesheng Temple, was built in the 11th year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty. The temple has a rigorous layout and majestic momentum. It was once an important place for the royal family to pray for rain and hold Buddhist activities. Because the temple houses a huge Buddhist bell cast during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, it is also commonly known as the "Big Bell Temple". Today, the Big Bell Temple is a multi-functional museum that uses ancient buildings to carry out tourism collections, exhibition research, and develop and utilize ancient bell cultural relics.

The Ancient Bell Museum of the Dazhong Temple is a relatively complete existing temple in Beijing. From south to north, the main buildings include the screen wall, the mountain gate, the Tianwang Hall, the Main Hall, the apse, the Sutra Library, the Bell Tower, and the east and west wings. The museum has 10 exhibition halls, including the history of Juesheng Temple, early bells, Warring States bells, Buddhist and Taoist bells (overview of types), Buddhist and Taoist bells (Wei, Jin and Ming dynasties), Ming and Qing exquisites, Yongle Bell, Bell castings, Buddhist and Taoist bells (Qing Dynasty), foreign bells, and the Jiuting Bell Garden can be viewed.
