Introduction to the tomb tower: The tomb tower of Elder Sugawara Ekiyo of Japan and the tomb tower of monk Xiangli, the former abbot of Xuanzhong Temple, are both built on the hillside on the east side of the temple, nestled among the green pines and cypresses. The tomb tower is pavilion-style and has a single-layer stone structure. The tomb tower is almost square in shape. The base of the tower is a square lotus seat, and the base is a square Xumizuo-style Vajra throne. The waist is engraved with lotus reliefs on three sides. On the base is the square tower body. The upper part of the tower body is supported by a group of upward lotus flowers that support the flying-angled top of the tower. It is designed according to the traditional form of the four roofs of ancient Chinese architecture. The upper part of the tower is retracted inward in four layers, and it supports a group of beautiful and tall curled leaves. The Tasha part consists of three groups of lotus patterns, with a Mani orb on top. There are a total of 108 lotus petals in the whole pagoda, which means that chanting the Buddha's name can eliminate hundreds of people's troubles and gain hundreds of ignorances. The whole tower is 2.31 meters high and the base diameter is 1.50 meters.
