Introduction to Hedong Shize: On the west door of Sima Di, there is a golden plaque given by the emperor - "Hedong Shize". "Hedong" refers to the Liu family in Hedong, and "Shize" refers to the blessings received from generation to generation. In the 23rd year of Jiaqing, Emperor Renzong sent an imperial envoy to the Liu Mansion in Xiwenxing to convey the decree, and he was awarded the "Golden Plaque of Hedong Shize" to Liu Maozhong, Liu Chunfang, "Chengde Lang" and Liu Maoyuan (fourth grade) as "Zhongxian Doctors". Liu Maozhong, courtesy name Zhongquan, was a Chinese student. In the 17th year of Jiaqing's reign, he was appointed the number one scholar of Shenke in Zhiwen.
