Introduction to Puxian Bodhisattva: The Three Holy Temples are the middle hall of Shanhua Temple. In the hall, four upright columns and four auxiliary columns support the beam frame, which is the roof style of the verandah hall. There are 60-degree inclined arches on the left and right sides, shaped like blooming flowers. Inclined arches were popular in the Jin Dynasty, and the largest and most gorgeous ones were the most popular. Four golden pillars are used to support the beams and roof in the hall, which is an outstanding example of the method of reducing and moving pillars in the Liao and Jin Dynasties, fully demonstrating the simple national style of ancient architecture. There are three standing statues inside, including Sakyamuni Buddha in the middle, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the right, and Manjusri Bodhisattva on the left. They are called the "Three Saints of Huayan" and named the Three Holy Temples. In front of the statue of the Three Holy Buddhas, there are two assistant bodhisattvas standing in front of the altar. Behind the altar is a statue of the protector Wei Tuo, holding a demon-conquering pestle, which is extremely powerful and majestic.
